Four girls from different social classes want to enter a place called TAES Art Academy "Workshop of Performing Arts", they are Mónica, Elena, Isabel, and Leticia. In their quest to become famous, love will also come to them, but not everything is perfect when Federico Cantú will make them go through many problems that they will manage to overcome.
Federico Cantú is the nephew of Guillermo Sánchez-Zúñiga and cousin of Mónica, he has the trust of his uncle, however his ambition combined with that of his mother Martha lead him to prepare a plan to end his uncle and take over his fortune. To carry out his plans, he allies with the father of his girlfriend Margarita, the main competitor of his uncle in the supermarket business, to steal the ideas of Guillermo and Rodrigo, Mónica's boyfriend, framing the latter for industrial espionage and sending him to jail, while Guillermo dies of a heart attack.
