Synopsis
Lupita López is a beautiful young woman studying law. Although she has a very promising future, for now she has no money and that's why she secretly lives in the Sares Rochild department store (a parody of Sears), where she works as a saleswoman in the toy department during the day and her uncle works as a night watchman. Everything she "borrows" from the store to live, she writes down in her notebook to pay it back when she finishes her studies. She has it all planned out. But one day, she meets a boy in the waiting room of the store owner's office. She thinks he is there looking for a job, and Alfredo decides to play along. Using the name of his best friend, Carlos, he pretends to be poor and gets a job at the store, which belongs to his father and where no one knows him, to get closer to Lupita. What started as a game for Alfredo unexpectedly changes when he truly falls in love with her.
