Synopsis
Estela is a beautiful woman who works teaching music to children and young people at a Foundation that keeps kids away from delinquency, in Riverside, California. Despite being very loved by her students, Estela doesn't interact much with them. For some reason, she prefers to keep to herself in the community with her 3-year-old daughter, Paloma, and her best friend, Chayo, who Paloma considers almost like her grandmother.
Everything goes smoothly until Estela gets involved in a tragedy where her name goes viral on social media. This is how Ryan Cabrera, an attractive businessman accused of murder, finds out about her and asks his lawyers to look for her to testify in his favor.
The lawyers find Estela, but she tries to avoid going to trial at all costs, and immediately goes to see Chavalín, a friendly Salvadoran, to explain to her who the identity he sold her belongs to. But Chavalín has no idea, he only knows that it belongs to a woman who disappeared three years ago.
