El Señor de los Cielos Season 7 Synopsis

This season has a new lead. The story centers on Amado Casillas, "El Águila Azul", who turns himself in to the Mexican authorities to avoid falling into U.S. hands. The DEA pushes for his extradition, and a CIA agent, Balthazar Ojeda, wants to silence him for good because Amado knows too much.

His transfer to another prison sets up a rescue attempt by the family. Meanwhile, Doña Alba clings to the hope that a risky treatment will bring back Aurelio, who hovers between life and death, and El Cabo sets out to wipe out the Casillas one by one.

The clan must regroup and look for partners outside Mexico. Amado and Diana Ahumada travel to Greece in search of allies and end up facing the Balkan mafia. Back home, the family tries to build a stronger cartel in a war where no one is safe.
