Synopsis

Macarena González firmly believes that she inherited a strange neurological disease from her mother that will lead her to the grave. Therefore, at the slightest "symptom" that appears, she goes to the clinic. She knows a lot about her supposed illness and handles all kinds of medications.

One day when she has an appointment to see the results of the tests that were performed on her, the doctor who usually attends the clinic cannot go and sends his son Alejandro as a substitute. Dr. Alejandro confuses Macarena's tests with those of another patient with the same last name, who actually suffers from Helga's disease, so Alejandro mistakenly diagnoses Macarena, when she actually does not have any illness.

It is not until days later that Dr. Alejandro realizes his mistake, but he is afraid to tell Macarena, as he could face a lawsuit and thus lose his medical license. Alejandro hires Macarena as his secretary and tries to help her as much as he can with everything she asks for, as he carries the guilt of having misdiagnosed her. Little by little, Macarena makes Alejandro more interested in the patients and changes his way of being, and the two begin to fall in love. However, they will not be able to live their love as they would like due to Juan Jhon, Macarena's husband, and Dr. Camila, Alejandro's girlfriend.

Thus, Alejandro and Macarena must face all the obstacles that come their way in order to make their love a reality.
