Synopsis
Altagracia Sandoval (Aracely Arámbula) is a legendary beautiful, elegant, successful woman, recognized in society and owner of an empire in the construction world, with a sad past. A victim of rape when she was a teenager. Just being a young girl, she suffered two very strong traumas that marked her and turned her into the ruthless "Doña" she is now. She becomes an insensitive mother who abandoned her daughter at an early age.
Altagracia suffers a great void in her life: true love. This deep feeling is born in her when she meets Saúl Aguirre (David Chocarro), a defense lawyer not only for victims of gender violence, but also for all those young women who fight for a better future in the midst of so much unemployment, overpopulation, and poverty.
Also back in Altagracia's life is her daughter, Mónica Hernández (Danna Paola), a young and beautiful woman of humble origin, estranged from Altagracia, she abandoned her years ago in the midst of that painful past. Because of this, Mónica has had to work very hard to survive and take care of her disabled father.
Now is when Altagracia faces the 2 feelings she had previously avoided: love for her daughter and love for a man. La Doña takes a 180-degree turn because Saúl awakens true love in her, a feeling that La Doña had decided to keep away forever from her heart and maternal instinct, although her daughter fell in love with the same man, she will struggle between revenge for her past and her daughter's love for a man.
