Where is Elisa? is a Colombian television series produced by The Walt Disney Company and Vista Productions, Inc for RCN Televisión in 2012. It is the adaptation of the Chilean production of the same name from 2009.

It is starring Cristina Umaña, Juan Pablo Gamboa, and Jorge Enrique Abello, with antagonistic roles played by Anabell Rivero and Lucho Velasco. It also features the special performance of Laura Perico.

The story is inspired by both the Swedish book The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson and real cases of disappearance, such as that of the girl Madeleine McCann, although this story revolves around a young woman instead of a small girl, whose disappearance in a nightclub makes it very similar to the murder of Jorge Matute Johns.

Synopsis

The León family has it all: money, power, and an important construction company. Vicente is the eldest of the León family and not only serves as the head of the company where his sister María Antonia and brother-in-law José Pablo work, but also as the family nucleus. Everything seemed perfect until Elisa, the eldest of Vicente and Adelaida's three daughters, disappears under strange circumstances without a trace. At that moment, detective Cristóbal Rivas arrives, who is in charge of the case and must solve the mystery of where Elisa is. Once the young woman disappears, the secrets of all the characters begin to be revealed: paranoia sets in, stories from the past come to light, issues that were thought to be resolved resurface, and recriminations begin.

This will lead to a long list of suspects in Elisa's kidnapping, including family members (uncles, cousins, and even her parents), classmates, former employees of Vicente León, and friends from the party scene she frequented before disappearing.
