Synopsis
Cristina Álvarez Rivas is a young beautiful and sweet woman who lives on a hacienda located in the state of Tabasco, next to her father Don Severiano Álvarez a strong and authoritative man, and her mother Doña Consuelo Rivas de Álvarez a noble and refined woman. Cristina falls in love with Diego Hernández, a peon who works on the hacienda, and knowing that her father will never accept her relationship with a peon, she gives herself to him as a way to show her love. Through the scheming employee Raquela, Don Severiano learns about the relationship between his daughter and Diego.
