Synopsis

Fiorella Morelli is a humble young woman whose life changes when she meets Andrés Mejía Guzmán, a prestigious businessman from one of Lima's most influential families. Andrés has been diagnosed with a serious terminal illness and, after falling in love with Fiorella, decides to marry her without revealing the true reason behind his decision.

After their wedding, the couple travels to Europe for their honeymoon. However, tragedy strikes when Andrés dies unexpectedly before he can introduce Fiorella to his family.

Suddenly widowed, Fiorella faces the hostility of the powerful Mejía Guzmán family, especially Doña Roberta, Andrés' mother, who refuses to accept the marriage and blames the young woman for the situation surrounding her son's death.

The situation becomes even more complicated when Andrés' will is revealed. Fiorella is named as one of the heirs to the family fortune, together with Andrés, the illegitimate son the deceased businessman had years earlier with a former servant. However, there is one condition: both heirs must live together in the family mansion for one year in order to receive the inheritance.

At first, Fiorella and the younger Andrés cannot stand each other. Their relationship is filled with resentment, prejudice and family pressure. But as they are forced to live together, their feelings gradually begin to change, leading to an unexpected romance that will face opposition from those determined to keep them apart.
